My mother taught me how to cook liver and onions more than 50 years ago, so when I make it, It’s GOOD.

Liver gets a bad rap because most people do it wrong. First, make sure it’s very fresh. Second, cook a pan full of bacon for flavor. Third cook some sweet onions in the same pan. Finally cook the liver.
Liver gets a bad rap because it’s bloody if it’s undercooked and tough as shoe leather if it’s overcooked, and it goes from undercooker to overcooked in a very short time.
