    As a matter of fact I love liver and onions. Of course, we know Heart has fallen asleep while doing her homework and has entered into her own twilight zone.

    I’m 37 and I still have dreams where I’m late for class, or I show up for a final exam for a class I haven’t attended all semester.

    @gmartin997

    My mother taught me how to cook liver and onions more than 50 years ago, so when I make it, It’s GOOD.

    @sjsczurek

    Spinach is great with lots of butter and a bit of salt, but for heaven’s sake, don’t chop it up.

    Broccoli is great with lots of butter and a bit of salt, but don’t overcook it into mush.

    @truecanadianliberal

    Liver gets a bad rap because most people do it wrong. First, make sure it’s very fresh. Second, cook a pan full of bacon for flavor. Third cook some sweet onions in the same pan. Finally cook the liver.

    Liver gets a bad rap because it’s bloody if it’s undercooked and tough as shoe leather if it’s overcooked, and it goes from undercooker to overcooked in a very short time.

    I won’t eat veal or calve’s liver because I know of the torture those poor calves go through.
