Top shelf, second can; doesn’t that look kinda like Rat from “Pearls Before Swine”?

It’s good to see that Lio stocks a wide variety of foods for Frank. Having the same thing time after time is no fun; but what store stocks those canned goods? Whole Foods?

In reality (what a concept!), a slightly warmed (in the microwave, just to body temperature) hot dog will do in a severe pinch, but most reptiles (at least constrictors) really want something living. That way they know it’s fresh!

Let me get this straight… Lio will sacrifice sharks, mice and owls to feed a snake, but when it comes to turkeys he’ll bend over backwards to make his father go hungry. Feed the stupid turkey to the snake.

I’ve seen canned possum before. Might’ve been a joke, though.

The picture on the can could either mean it’s that animal or food for that animal, but there weren’t any cans with snakes on them. And was that a platypus?

@purpledog39: it sure looks like a platypus to me. I bet it tastes like duck.

I brought home “Canned Platypus” from Australia. OK, it’s actually a small toy platypus, but it’s sold in a real (sealed) tin can. I’ve never opened it because it’s more fun to have people ask me if its REALLY canned platypus. They also sell Koala-in-a-Can and Kangaroo-in-a-Can…

I can’t tell what’s on the can he’s opening — looks kinda like a teddy bear.

Reminds me of the story of canned food being introduced to a primitive African village. Since no-one could read, the cans had pictures on them showing what was inside. Which was fine until they got a shipment of baby food, with a picture of a baby on the can! (Mmmm, Cannibal Chow…)

I had pet rats for years, lovely little fellows! I would be very upsetting when someone said" my snake would love to meet them". Instead of feeding rats to snakes, it would be better to cook up some snake steak for the ratsPeople don’t like their tails but they are smart as a dog or cat! Also they have sweet dispositions, don’t smell bad , and can’t even catch rabies..

Oh No!!! It’s Clovis in a can! Is that why “Imagine THIS” is having guest strips running now??
