Nobody expects the MacArthur Award! [Monty Python reference intended.] So, Rat, you have sealed your own fate through your unbridled egotism!(Could Pastis be channeling his own disappointment here?)

Gawd some people just have to try to make everything political. They really have to stretch too, to turn a cartoon and make it about Obama.

The MacAruthur Foundation gives its grants to people who are attempting to make the world a better place. So you see, you do not qualify — you are not a people.

I really expected the last panel to show Pastis. Not that he doesn’t deserve a MacArthur Grant. PBS definitely makes the world a better place.

Rat is a genius, but not in the qualities that the MacArthur people are looking to promote..Now, if they had an award for evil genius sociopaths. . . .

I didn’t get one either. Between Rat and I, they left out the tops in the field.

I think I’m entitled to say that the president is not a genius without taking criticism for it because we all know that he’s not a genius. Some people are so touchy. As for America getting the leader it deserves…fine. America has a lot of people who act like sheep, and get caught up the celebrity hype. They know more about Hollywood scandals than they do about politics. This is more irritating to me than anyone can imagine. I was too young to vote in 2008, sadly. Wouldn’t have made much difference. I just hope that after fou years people will realize what a huge mistake they made. Hell, people already know. Obama’s playing limbo with his approval ratings: “How low can you go?”

Obama would do his job if these off-beat radio conservative coo-coos (Rush, Hannnity, Boortz, Imus, Savage, etc ) would get off his back! These are same a-holes that didn’t give Bill Clinton a chance!

Pokerfaced Parrot, we may grow to be good friends. As to the rest of you, do you deny that I’ve said anything accurate? The talkshow hosts don’t matter. They’re just all blowing hot air. Obama doesn’t have any reason to care bout them, so don’t blame them for the b*llsh*t that’s been going on. And for the editorials..why? They’re just another political hot air vent. I don’t align myself to any political parties becuase parties are groups that people blindly follow without understanding what they claim to support. So I align myself to a set of ideals, not an empty title. “Pearls Before Swine” is one of the few comic strips that I actually take the time to read. So don’t expect me to go away.
