Ooooo. Not good. My mom once said, in my younger days like a couple days ago, that I drove her crazy. I responded, unfortunately and too quickly, “Short drive”. Move over Michael.

ahaha … nice catch! Hopefully Ms. Johnson will see your comment, and get it rectified.I once got a 3 day suspension for walking into a class and saying to the teacher: “Yo Joe, how’s it goin’ dude?!” I was supposed to say “Hey, Mr Quamie, how are you today?”

    No, Michael. You’re not a servant… You’re more like a convict.

I can’t remember the spelling, but phonetically, the last name of one of my fellow students was “y” (as in why). The first day of class with a new teacher:

    Teacher: What’s your name?

    Student: Y

Teacher: Because I said so, now what’s your name?

    Student: Y

… that didn’t end well either.

Too many kids think they can talk to teachers anyway they want. I tell them "You talk that way to your boss and the only thing you’ll be hearing is “You’re fired!”
