Well, Calvin has a good idea in hiding it, although I think mom and dad are going to notice something when water is going down the stairs, and the bathroom is an indoor swimming pool. However, on the good side, indoor swimming pool (until someone opens the door) on the bad side, water damage, and no bathroom.

That is a tough hide, mroberts. And a indoor swimming pool in the bathroom isn’t all it’s kicked up to be.

The water is almost up to Calvin’s waist. I don’t think the door is gonna hold out much longer.

I hear parents tell their kids “I hope when you grow up, you have a kid just like you.”

Makes me wonder what horrible things Calvin’s Mom and Dad must’ve done to deserve him!

In panel 3, Dad’s not ‘railing’ at Calvin yet, but he will when he ‘flushes’ Calvin out.

In panel 4, “Don’t Let the Rain Come Down” -Serendipity Singers There will be no serendipitous discovery in this instance.

Susan001, Maybe Calvin’s hair has been matted down from all the water spraying around the bathroom. Even so, it’s rather surprising in one sense, since this obviously is a ‘hair-raising’ experience for Calvin.

Wasn’t Calvin downstairs in yesterday’s cartoon?

The final warning that Dad should investigate? Panel Four. Calvin telling him not to. I’m glad Dad lost the “your turn” argument. He’s so much wittier than mom…..

When the answer to “Is everything alright?” is “FINE! DON’T COME UP!” it’s a signal to the parent to ascend the stairs as fast as their legs will carry them. You always know that “Fine” is hiding something the kid doesn’t want you to know about!
