    Hmphf….

No quote has shown up from my column, I see….

Was my review not favorable enough?

Is Stel still upset because I didn’t go to that “Support the Artists” fundraising dinner last April??

    Again…. I was otherwise engaged!

(And sorry… so was my $223.87…)

Anyway… the movie was a delightful doggie romp….

a tail-wagging spoof of gangsters and Howlywood.

Oh… maybe it’s cos of something I might have said about Woody Attaboy:

Too bad he later proved unable to stay on his leash.

He even ran off with one of his mate’s puppies!

I know that doesn’t change his movies… and it probably shouldn’t influence my opinion,

but I still find myself having a hard time enjoying his work.

I must be a little like Stewart.

More than one person in my life has referred to me,

    whether critically or admiringly…

as some version of “easily entertained.”

@sᴛᴇʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʙᴇʟʟ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ ʙᴀʟʟ

The Washington Post has its Pinocchio scale.

The GoComics’ Newsroom has a scale too – the Cleo “Good Girl!” scale.

Today’s Cleo & Co. poster rates 9 Barks!

Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof!

P.S. The official style book of the GoComics’ Newsroom (The Well-Barken Thesaurus, by Tom “Blue” Heehler) prefers “Purply” to “Purplie.” (here’s how I remember the rule

“y?” No! “ie,” except after “p”)

I stand by my comment – Pure Doggy Enchantment – can’t get much better than that! (except maybe the Cuddly Kitten of Cleveland)

Ohhh, I just love these romantic movies! The review was right…..there was a lot of drooling in the audience. Jeffy Spaniels’ performance reminded me of…….um……of……of…Peter Falk…..trench coat and all. (romantic? Peter Falk?)

Great poster, Stel. And, tickled to be part of the Press Release!
