I hate to admit it…. but I’m having trouble understanding the Ballard St strip up there.
If the fellow in the suit is Mr. Hadley… he doesn’t look like he’s struggling…
Is the goofy guy in back attempting to steal people’s hand luggage?
Or is he Mr. Hadley, tying all his luggage together to protect it?
In any case, the way those suitcases are attached to each other, straight straps alternating with crossed ones…
looks like those flat blocks joined with elastic you got at the carnival, when I was a kid.
Wooden ones called “magic ladders”, where one flip-flopped its way down when you held up the strip…
and plastic ones called “magic wallets” that seemed to make a dollar disappear.
Anybody remember?
A few years ago somebody was trying to sell them as real wallets in an infomercial.
Cracked me up!
