Stel ol’ Bel, you (LOL) are soooo right about the number of days in January and the number of hours in a January day.I will grant your request for a shooting, but it will have to be with my handy dandy super-soaker water cannon. have to shoot fast, though, with a 2 degree forecast for tomorrow, it would freeze before the first trigger tug.Jeez! we’re STILL 2 weeks away from GROUNDHOG day.as Claude would say when he loses his keys again:ARRRRRGHHH!

I just saw that the temps in Phoenix (where all of my relatives now reside) is in the eighties…..and I know that somewhere , not all that far from here, people are strolling along a sandy beach on a beautiful day wearing the bare minimum and sipping cold drinks.you guys are sure lucky. Please take a moment from the troubles in your life and give thanks, things could be even worse.I don’t know why it’s bothering me so much this winter. I’ve lived through 65 of the damn things, you’d think I be used to it by now. Maybe that’s why my contemporaries flock to places like Florida and AZ…..oh, well, spring will be that much sweeter to savor, right?

A breakfast of 2 eggs over easy, hash browns and a rare ribeye steak sounds perfect. This dang strip is constantly giving me hunger pangs.

We went up to 69 yesterday in Las Vegas but the lows are still in the 30s.

Good morning kids. Hope everyone gets the day off today. It was a frigid 17 degrees this morning. Temps like this make me greatful for my nice warm home. .A sky full of tenderloin sure beats a sky full of mushy oatmeal.

Good late afternoon Fellow Baby (how was lunch?), cleo and sugie!

And all ye gathered here, eating steaks and sipping on Margaritas.

Fellow Baby we went to a buffet style place in the ship channel area. The food is very good there. Today, among other things, they had prime rib, ham, blackened catfish, breaded shrimp and the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had dining out. I tried a little bit of everything, but went for a second helping of catfish and potatoes.

I may have a light snack before going to bed, but I’m not hungry at the moment.

This is a week of lunches. Our contractor is having a lunch tomorrow and our plant manager’s farewell lunch is Thursday. I may skip lunch on Friday.

cleo, I just ordered Dusty Springfield on Sunday among others. I listened to Petula Clark yesterday among other stuff. Love her music.

I’m going to cap the evening with some Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I want to try to listen to as many disks as I can before the new batch comes in on Wednesday.

Fellow Baby, I am glad that you enjoyed your Anniversary Dinner, and it is REALLY nice that your company recognized your good work over 35 years! It’s always nice when a company appreciates their employees, because without good employees, the company would be NOTHING!

(Can I come for the next feast? Huh, huh, huh?)

The next one is tomorrow, Fellow Baby. I believe it’s Mexican, but I’m not sure where. Thursday will be in house and I’m not sure where we are ordering from. I’m going to try to find out. We often order excellent barbecue from the area and there’s another place we order steaks from.

The thing about where we went today is the place we went is a really nice restaurant in a location where you’d you just wouldn’t expect it. There’s nothing pretty about the surroundings as it overlooks the ship channel and the neighborhood is not one you’d want to be seen at during the evening hours. But the food there is excellent!

Fellow Baby good food and good service is most important, where ever you are! And good food is one of my favorite topics! :-D

My sister bought me a Mortar and Pestle.

I had two made of wood, but they are not good for hard pills. Now i have a stone one.

That’s good happy! I hope your sister will help you more than just bringing something, I hope she will help you take care of your mom as well. I admire you happy! You ARE STRONGER THAN YOU KNOW!

For those of you that do not know it, Jupiter is aligned with the moon and is visible right next to it. This will not happen again until 2026. It is pretty cool to see!
