What else is there to think about other than food?
Speaking about food, Skippy had lost his heart but never his appetite, still scarfing it down. He is back to wagging his tail and has succumbed to sitting in Toby’s front seat of the truck which he wouldn’t do at first . Things are coming around for the “big guy”.

He’s a dog, every cloud looks like a steak. If he were a man, every cloud would look like a woman. We are true to our natures whether we want to be or not.

@Citizen GROG!
Well, it’s certainly understandable to mistake Lambchop for a cloud, since she’s so fluffy:

My pup is a happy camper these days. I made a big pot of vegetable beef soup on Sunday so she has a nice supply of beef bones to feast on for the next couple of weeks.
Happy, happy, happy!!!

Where to begain…
Last week when, the Nurse from Hospice put the catheter in, i notice that mom might have (another) UTI. We sent in a sample and yes, she had a (massive) infection. She started her antibiotics Thursday, and the Nurse commented last night how much clearer her urine is. She is also far less agitated, and somewhat more alert.
I am sure some of the drop in her agitation and increase in her “alertness” is in part because of the pain killer she is now on.
The new down side is that it has become very difficult to get her to eat solid food. The last two days All i have bin able to get down her is smoothies. She slurps them down with relish, and that makes me feel better. I also found out that drinking straws are becoming an issue. Who would have thought that someone could forget how to suck through a straw.
My sister and brother-in-law steeped up to the plate this weekend. They brought me much of the stuff i asked for when i told them (e-mail) that i needed some caned fruit, and ice cream. I got that and more. I now have a WONDERFUL morder and pestal (spelling) made turned stone.
It works great. No more crushing pills between soup spoons.
Today mom gets a bath, and when that is happening, i get to walk my boy.
Tomorrow i go grocery shopping, and i am going to buy a good blender.
