The tragedy of this toon is, there are some out there who actually Do believe this tripe when they hear it… And soul-less con artists wearing the trappings of religion willing to sell the tripe to them. They sell ‘God’ like soap-flakes these days, while working their hardest to destroy the true miracle of the creation all around them.

And whether it was created, or evolved though aeons of the slow workings of natural laws, our entire biosphere IS a miracle. And so far as we know for a Fact, it’s the only one in existence. Anywhere. Perhaps that is worth considering, before we screw it up to the point it is uninhabitable (too). Just a thought.

Just kidding, of course. I was only 10 miles from the epicenter of the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. The drive home, with power (and traffic lights) knocked out, and a bridge knocked down, was surreal. But people on the road were almost uniformly courteous to each other (almost. There’s always a few who aren’t.)

Heard the ranting of mtg and she said this was a sign from God, so she suggested the republican’ts sacrifice a virgin, but as the republican’ts don’t have any they will B&C about the democrats! Maybe this mean that she and the rest of the republican’ts are going to give up their support for the anti-Christ and finally do the job they were hired to do and have falsely taken taxpayers money while playing politics and ignoring the countries issues?
