What do you get when you mix a joke with a rhetorical question?

… why are you ignoring me?

I’ve given up asking rhetorical questions.

What’s the point?

For example, the comments sections on GoComics…I.E., whatever riles them up gets the biggest response…it’s all about buttons and triggers.

The problem, to my way of thinking, is that most of the rhetoric is extreme. Rational, reasoned conversation is drowned out in the resulting cacophony. It doesn’t seem to matter what the topic of discussion is, things are polarized either for or against and how dare anyone disagree with either opposing side or horrors of all, adopt a middle of the road position.

Eh too many fancy words in Engleesh me is no get.

It seems that we have normalized insanity.

Where would be the fun in that?

Perfectly describes current political theater, where little governing is being done, and it is all posturing and popularity contests. Very little sensible rhetoric.

See That Trumps plan bark loudly and carry a big stick, anyone buying that or even renting it for a day or too, or he just can’t help himself
