Ah yes, the Christmas season, the electric company’s favorite time of the year.

I like how this is a continuation of Sunday’s strip. It seldom happens in Garfield.

I don’t know if it’s just because I’ve had a rough few weeks, but this made me smile

So they still have the tree that they got yesterday.

Sunglasses effect lost in black-and-white.

Remember to get welding helmets for next year’s lighting upgrade.

As Garfield would say, “Nice touch!”

The Count ❤️s it!! Nothing but a cone of Christmas ornaments and decorations with no tree underneath. The tree that would have been there is still living happily in a forest somewhere rather than giving up its life for a few weeks in someone’s living room.

This strip reminds me of one of the Christmas episodes on “Home Improvements” where the Taylors have to don sunglasses to view the outside of the house all lit up. Probably was visible from the International Space Station.

I’d call it the “Garfield tree”.

We’ve upped the lighting since things switched to LED. No heat build up, minimal electricity usage

Where’s the tree? Isn’t there supposed to be a tree underneath all those ornaments? At least you don’t have to water those ornaments.

They kept the tree from yesterday. Respect.

Had a Christmas tree something like that but with all white lights. Standing joke was that it was bright enough for landing aircraft to use as an outer marker, and the airport was a good 12 miles away. Finally sold it.

Reminds me of the movie “Christmas Vacation”, when Chevy Chase’s house is all lit up.
