Sounds like Trick or BEER. The kids would go up first and if we knew the family it was grab a beer and gab. We pulled a cooler in a wagon. The kids ran loose. There was only one road in our little subdivision. No kidnappers or freaks. We didn’t have to check the candy, we just let them eat it. Florida in the ’90s.
I have a piñata obstacle course idea along the same line. Little plastic bottles will fall out on foam floor. You pick up additional ingredients along obstacle course & make a cocktail at the end. A combination of fastest & tastiest wins!
Many municipalities have laws against public intoxications. Fortunately.
Before Santa Barbara’s “Fiesta Days” became less alcohol-oriented, I saw a guy set a can of beer on the curb, step out into traffic, almost get sideswiped, before stepping back onto the curb and picking up his beer.
My mother-in-law and her friends did this one year. When they arrived at my sister-in-law’s house, one of the friends fell into the bathtub and passed out there. We still tell that story!

We had a dorm drunk with a hollow leg. One shot of Wild Turkey and he was out. I had to carry him back to his room.
