This reminds me of the first test of my homemade gun powder in a length of pipe. I thought it would be safe, with a sheet of 1/2" plywood in front of the muzzle. The marble went through the plywood, through the workshop wall, through the laundry room wall, and disintegrated when it created a large divot in the cement basement wall.

I thought Miles would have more sense than that. Out of character for him.

It’s more a rock launcher now.

I can see how a wavering aim might make for friendly fire.

Good thing he missed. It would have taken days to clean the brains off the wall.

This is why science works, despite how many walls may be damaged. On the plus side, they did it away from the house.

Why don’t you just use a foam ball instead of a rock? It’s a lot less dangerous.

With the name Spudinator, what did you expect would happen to the potatoes?

Might be a good idea if the military doesn’t hear of this invention.

So he’s invented a potato masher that doubles as a weapon…not to be confused with a WWII German hand grenade.

Yikes Maybe you should play with something safer like an Avtomat Kalashnikova.

Good thing Kevin flinched and ducked.

Maybe the target shouldn’t be attached to a living person. That would, of course, make it difficult to play William Tell.

Maybe it’s better that Kevin didn’t know.

The sign may have said stop, but that rock didn’t listen.
