Why is Chase all dressed up and Mark isn’t?

My how things have changed!

The (Catholic) Pope has just emphasized that same-sex conjoinings are just fine and should be embraced by the Catholic Church, just as long as they aren’t formal official holy matrimony.

Chase’s presumption that all of Mark’s friends (and whatever relatives he might have besides Dad and Mom) would be frightened or angry says too much about the people in Chase’s life. Makes me wonder a bit about who Chase might have been before he finally came out to himself. :-|
