Thanks cheerleaders all. Aaron did make it around the block, slow but sure. If you looked up stubborn in the dictionary, friend Aaron’s avatar would be right there. But one can also tell is terribly hard and painful. He won’t say so — he just keeps trying. There is a lot to love about my Aaron but keeping on keeping on is the best.

got my 11 yr old daughter a boys suit to wear over her bathing suit. Who needs an 11 yr old looking like she’s 16 anyway? I don’t get it.

Gee, not much Cathy activity today. Must be the weekend and summer. As for me, I’m tired and sore from a lot of activity today. Time to climb into bed and read for a while. I’m just starting a Steve Berry novel about the Knights Templar. Good stuff . . .

The beach is quite rough, knocked me down several times and a few bruises along with suit full of sand…lost my teeth so sad!! Will have to get drunk instead of eating all week!!

Oh, dear. Looks like Cathy’s back on all those silly, ridiculous, expensive affirmations that simply don’t seem to work for her. Well, once again, whatever makes her feel good about herself is all I can say! I guess that’s something that we all need in our lives at least every now and then . . . something that makes us feel good about ourselves and lifts our spirits when we’re otherwise feeling just a little bit low at that moment in time. If affirmations like this work, then what the heck?! Go for it! It certainly couldn’t hurt anything!!!

Aaron: Glad to hear your walk around the block was a successful, albeit a slow and painful one. But it’ll get a little bit better every day until one day, it won’t hurt at all and it’ll be as though it never even happened to begin with — I promise!!!!! Hi Cathyites!! Wow — so glad to hear you made it around the block Aaron!! We’re all still cheering for you!!!

Cathy is absolutely right in the last panel — just loosen them up a little and we could all be a lot happier. If teeny bops want to pour themselves into their suits, they can do so, and the rest of us can be comfortable in our baggies. Let’s just “have it our way” with bathing suits.
