Murdoch has a plan. It is short sighted, bad for people and societies, probably even evil. But he’s FINE with that, because it makes him even more obscenely rich.

Strip Murdoch of his questionable citizenship and deport his ass.

The name and apparent personality of Rupert Murdoch could be one of the pantheon of fictional characters from Charles Dickens’ works. “Murdstone” from “David “Copperfield” is close in the alphabet. (“Scrooge” is too easy.)

BTW Lindsey Graham reminds me of slimey Uriah Heep. What Dickens characters would Carlson and Hannity be? Crooked counselors? Body snatchers?

Who else thinks that Faux Noise is trying to hide their guilt,. because they might be held liable for “aiding and abetting an insurection”. Everyone knows that Murdoch has no integrity or actual honor. None of the talking goons on that channel don’t seem to either.

Foxy Murdoch chooses not “broadcast” the hearings — but he and the Conservative pundits at the station would eagerly jump at the chance to “run them.”

Why bother? It’s nothing but but a kangaroo court anyway.

They are called ‘hearings" but the right wingers can’t hear a thing.

Russian state media is impressed by the gullibility of Fox viewers in the U.S. and wishes its own watchers bought all their lies.

Foxnews has been very successful in protecting its flock from everything not in their constructed reality. Tucker’s televised Klan rallies are but one glaring example of right-wing desperation.

Fox News’ ongoing complicity in the January 6 insurrection

This marks a new phase of Fox’s complicity in the violent right-wing coup attempt. The network’s biggest stars went all-in to support former President Donald Trump’s lie that the 2020 election had been stolen. When that incitement triggered the storming of the U.S. Capitol – an attempt to overturn the election results by force and end American democracy – they privately begged Trump to stop the assault, then publicly excused it. In the months that followed, they pivoted to defending Trump and his insurrectionists and punishing any Republicans who spoke out against the depravity.

And now, as the bipartisan congressional committee convenes to detail the fruits of its investigation, Fox will, at best, downplay and conceal what happened from its viewers — or, more likely, have the very people who helped bring about that bloody day lie about the events.

Fox’s decision to air its typical programming in lieu of the prime-time hearing is particularly grotesque given what we’ve learned about its prime-time hosts since the committee began its work. Text messages released by the committee exposed the duplicity of the coverage Hannity and Ingraham provided about January 6. And Carlson’s commentary proved so maliciously false that several of his colleagues quit the network in protest. All three have spent the days leading up to tomorrow night’s hearing priming their viewers to view the committee as a farce tainted by anti-Trump partisanship.
