[nsfw] it’s Bessie’s 80th birthday. She decides that she wants to try something she never did. She goes to the local bordello and asks the madam if she can be a hooker for one night. The madam calls three of her previest clients and tells them to come over for something new.
Bessie goes upstairs with the first client. An hour later he comes down with a huge smile on his face. Upstairs with number two, and another satisfied customer. She goes up the stairs with number three, and he also comes down beaming.
The madam asks Bessie when she’s coming back?
“I don’t think I’ll be doing this again, dear.”
“But the clients loved you.”
“I know, but climbing all those stairs? That wore me out.”
John, I DO like your take on these classic/vintage comics; I can remember them their first time around. I don’t know about you, brother, but “things get complicated when you get past 18” (“Class of ’57” -the Statler Brothers). It’s nice to be reminded of these simpler times; the present needs all our adult mature heads to deal with the insanity we all live with. As I’ve said, I love your work and your dry (martini) sense of humor. Keep up the good work, my friend.

You have to have enough new talent to get 3 drinks into them before you bring out the older workers.

Sounds like a family that goes through a lot of Bumps and Grinds as life goes on to the beat of the music.
