When I was growing up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, there was a bar and restaurant called Ptomaine Ptommy’s. I asked my dad what that meant and how to pronounce it, and he explained that the P was silent, as in swimming.

The diving pool is probably separate from the lap pool, and deeper water will stay cold longer. Frazz should be safe.

Cold pool water can cause the skin on some parts of the body to tighten up to retain heat. This can put sudden pressure on the bladder, which if close to full………. can warm up the pool water slightly.

actually, heat and sunshine speed up the breakdown of most pool chemicals, so you need more.

Gross or not, urine is sterile, so why would chlorine help with that?

Think public pool water is bad, get a mouthful of sea water. You’ll feel sorry for the fish.

The drawing is endearing, but I don’t get the point.

Silly boy. They don’t put chlorine in because there’s pee in the pool. Pee is virtually sterile. It’s the other stuff that’s a problem, and that’s mostly an issue because people don’t rinse off before swimming, despite all the signs asking them to, because nobody ever wants to explain to them why. (It’s because you have poo on you. Yes, you do. Really.)
