    There’s a fine line between empowering your assistants and not doing enough yourself. But I have to say that if anybody understands what a veep would want, Biden is the man.

    there must be a man in the house, to assign all these thankless tasks. Or as one nit-wit of a husband said, “I got to go rest my eyes.”

    I worry most that the Biden-Harris team does not inspire enough confidence in democracy to overcome the threats against it coming from the irrational anti-democracy inspired partisanship we’re experiencing.

    Is there any doubt that Harris prefers these responsibilities/opportunities to a bucket of warm spit?

    When only one person can address all the issues of government, only one can solve all our problems, only one can make the trains run on time, it is called fascism.

    Then she appears to be doing pretty well on vaccinations. Immigration not so well, but that is a big problem that is not going to be solved quickly. Voting rights is tough because that traditionally is a State issue that the Feds generally stay out of. Biden is ultimately in charge of all of that too, as chief executive… unlike corporate CEOs who feel that the higher their office the less accountability and responsibility they have…

    @Patrick Murphy:

    What a pathetic excuse for a carbon-based lifeform you are. You are, as a matter of objective reality, a racist, a mysogynist, a sexist, an imbecile, and a coward. As the conservative icon George Will correctly noted, any person who agreed to be Trump’s running mate would be unqualified because he would think that Trump was qualified. As a moderate, I agreed with that bit of conservative wisdom 100%. Because objective reality.

    It’s the old saying, ‘Why have a dog and bark yourself?’ Delegation means not having to do it all yourself. Delegation is showing that you have confidence in those you picked as part of your team. Leadership is about taking the team with you, not doing it all yourself in a half arsed manner, like the previous eejit.

    Joe, please don’t make Kamala the “Jared Kushner” of your administation — unless you really believe she has the skill and talent to succeed.
