Or, we could all get covid-19 and be forced into quarantine so we can’t confirm her. That might be a better option.

Since so many of those who attended the spreader fest in the rose garden announcing her “nomination” for the position, has Judge Amy (who was also there) been tested for the virus, or are they afraid that if she tests positive they may have to postpone the “hearing” until after the election?

I don’t know what Barret is like. Maybe as a judge she dwells on a plane of existence far above normal ground-based peopled. But I would greatly respect her if right now she withdrew herself from SCOTUS consideration. All the events surrounding this process expose the corruption of our political system, and she would be forever connected to it. Ha, imagine all the soiled political drawers if that happened!

Which is, as usual for the GOP on covid, not merely evil, but stupid, even for their own goals.

Senators pretending to be healthy to get the vote through will infect other Senators, some of whom will not be able to pretend. And they’ll be mostly Republicans, because Democrats will be doing everything they can to stay safe.

If.. she had any values.. knowing, the animosity her nomination has created.. knowing, she would not have the peoples support.. she would want to decline the nomination. But.. we see she has no values, she is a republican after all.

We need a ceremony and a sacrifice to appease the plague and save the great orange leader – let’s throw Amy in a volcano – everything will be peachy (or is it orangy?).

If she had the least sense of honor even self-worth or pride, she would refuse to receive stolen property.

President Donald Trump publicly turned down the Democratic stimulus offer, or the updated $2.2 trillion HEROES Act that passed the House last week, sending stocks plunging on Tuesday afternoon.

“Nancy Pelosi is asking for $2.4 Trillion Dollars to bailout poorly run, high crime, Democrat States, money that is in no way related to COVID-19,” the president said in a tweet thread. “I am rejecting their request, and looking to the future of our Country.”

The tweets came as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin returned to the negotiating table in hopes of crafting legislation that could pass both the Democratic-controlled House and GOP-controlled Senate. Mnuchin confirmed to Pelosi over the phone that the president was walking away from the talks.

The president added that he instructed representatives “to stop negotiating until after the election when, immediately after I win, we will pass a major Stimulus Bill that focuses on hardworking Americans and Small Business.” Trump added that the GOP should instead focus on approving Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court ahead of the Nov. 3 presidential election.

Might be a bit difficult since Moscow Mitch decided virtual votes are out.
