I am surprized that Jason’s parents would allow him to watch Game of Thrones. What with all the nudity and sex involved with the series, plus some rather graphic violence too.
One of the fictions I’ve enjoyed included the side note that the WAY dragons breathe fire involves releasing biologically produced methane gas and then striking a spark with the teeth. Thus the alert (and quick) knight could smell the dragon’s intent to flame him… and dodge.

Joke’s a bit late, but still faster than George Martin’s writing

I guess Jason needs to learn the High Valyrian word for “iguana fire”.

For those who wonder its a reference to Game of Thrones. You might mistake it for Godzilla or D&D if you didn’t know better.

Still better than season 8.

Was Roger actually expecting that to work, or just humoring Jason?

Throughout today’s strip, I can envision Roger rocking The Doors “Light My Fire” on his exterior speakers….

Breathing in vaporized petroleum distillates. That’s the joke.

The kid plays too many RPGs. The iguana is not a dragon!

Practiced? …does that mean they actually successfully pulled it off at some point, then? :O

Looks like Dad might’ve gotten too close to the fire a few times…

Wait – so he actually breathed fire when they practiced?

Quincy choked like Spike did in MLP equestrian games episode. Performance anxiety.

Maybe Quincy is the Ice Dragon.

You’d think Jason would try to adapt his rocket experiments for this.

I’m surprised they let Jason watch it, especially after he and Marcus glued fake swords to the sofa.

Quincy is supposed to breathe fire with that incantation.

Considering the grill always lights with a giant fireball, this failure is probably a good thing.

Jason’s 10. GoT isn’t exactly ideal material for him to be familiar with.

No, Jason! The magic word is “Ignito”!

Wouldn’t Roger say quincy is up since he’s the one who’s breathing fire?
