    Hey Nabu,

What’s all that bleeep got to do with today’s strip?

That’s trivia and we just aren’t impressed. You must be real lonely. Give it a rest, already.

Wow Wiley, how prophetic! Here in NNJ we are getting snow, and it is currently (7:30 am) coming down hard (inch and a half on the ground and about 1/4 mi visibility). This after yesterday’s gorgeous afternoon, 60 - 62 degress and a blue, cloudless sky.

If this comic thing does not work out for you, there may be a future for you in weather forecasting!!! ;-)

Here in Central MN the mercury has been bouncing all over the place. Last week was “above average” temperatures, this week we’re looking at highs in the high-20’s - low-30’s. Not totally unexpected for this time of year around here.

Don’t tell me about the first day of Spring. I walked her dog though the campus yesterday and not one hormonal crazed, full moon affected, equinox driven Co-Ed threw herself on this mid-fifties, balding man with poor hygiene habits. Always next year.

Kurt Vonnegut said we have six seasons:

Spring—May and June Summer—July and August Fall—September and October The Closing—November and December (I call it Falter) Winter—January and February The Opening- –March and April (I call it Springter)

The seasons make perfect sense if you view it that way. I miss ol’ Kurt…

God help the husband of Danae, because Danae won’t. I know 2 women who are like Danae and I always run to the restroom to avoid them. But Danae is the type that does not care about the men’s restroom nor anybody else.

I want spring! Raining non-stop for my “spring break!” :( Wiley hit it dead on.

Night… you are delusional. Lake Tahoe, that place that feeds California’s water system, set a 25 year record of snowfall. That was 3 weeks ago… Last week they just got dumped on another 6 feet! The ice at the poles has also been increasing. http://www.iceagenow.com/Areaofthickarcticicedoubledintwoyears.htm The climate is a always changing, but CO2 caused global warming is baloney.

It’s called Climate Change, not Global Warming. Get with the times! Global Warming is SOooo last century!

And seriously, do you people honestly expect that pumping as much pollution into the atmosphere, as we do, will have NO effect on the weather at all? SERIOUSLY? Who’s in denial here…

Nabu, thanks for the info. I suspect you catch BBC News more than occasionally, or some other world-view newscast.

Beautiful sunny day here in southern Ontario with a high of 50F or 10C today, dropping to 25F Wednesday with 10-15 cm or 4-6 inches of snow, so I agree with Danae!

    Snow today… Gone tomorrow… Dogs and cats… Homeowner’s sorrow…

Now too hot… Soon too cold… Mother Nature?… No, Man to scold…

    Soon to see… Our last stand?… New beginning?… That’s Nature’s plan…

I grew up in Tucson Arizona and it did get down to freezing a few times every winter and snow every five years or so. I’m now living in South Florida. High temp today 78°F (25.5°C). Right now at 9:30 PM is 72° (22°). Summer and January the two seasons in Florida, LOL.

Like someone else said, you’re in Maine. I have Portland on my weather spots it’s about 32. Just so you know Maine, It’s 80 here, but your airport says Welcome Home and only has one gift shop. It might be worth the cold.

Well, I’m in the midwest and there is still snow in my backyard and sleet on the way tomorrow. We had a very snowy winter and tho we’ve had a few nice days, it has been very slow to really warm up. The (very determined) pansies are in bloom in the yard tho.

At the risk of setting off the “is it, or isn’t it” debate, let me try to explain the theory of Climate Change (Global Warming).

    Heat = Energy

The more energy in the system, the more chaotic it becomes. Which causes more extremes. Colder here, warmer there, wetter over yonder, and drier somewhere else. And then all those conditions play musical chairs.

    Meteorological Chaos

This week’s storm (so far) in SoCal, we’ve had 4-3/4” of rain above Pasadena; and Wrightwood at about 6,000’ASL just got 23” of snow; so it’s not over around here yet.

But with local water companies doing restrictions (due to a plant closing throttling MWD for several weeks) any moisture we get locally is welcome.

It’s just later in the year that all that new fuel will become fun…
