Yo, Kempie-Doll, how are things down there under the bus? This would make a far more accurate campaign ad than that Internet Tough Guy nonsense showing you threatening your daughter’s boyfriend with a gun. Donny just suggested injecting Lysol and/or sunlight into the human body to cure COVID-19. You still going to support this madman?
You get weak-minded people in positions of authority and then you dump a serious unexpected HARD situation on them and… You get what weak-minded people do when they haven’t got a clue.
This is a good reason to vote for people who have intelligence and principles. Too bad we don’t have more options for that. Have YOU considered running for office? We surely could use some people who would do it better than so many we now have… and it’s not a very high bar in some states.
After the Stormy debacle, a friend of mine suggested that the best name to call the orange philanderer now would be Spanky…. I went with Rumpy tho so there would be no confusion with George MacFarland & Gang…..
Gotta love Trump. First he praises Georgia’s Governor as a “hero of the people”, the next day, in true Trumpian fashion, excoriation the same Governor. Claiming he’s being hasty.
Much of my family lives down there. Thank God they live in Atlanta, where the mayor has taken more decisive action than Governor Kemp. Unfortunately, he previously allowed counties and towns to make their own decisions, which means that, if you look at Atlanta, many people lived in one county but were required to go to work in a different one which had a GOP leader who wouldn’t shut things down.
Kemp is desperately trying to avoid making ANY decision. He was one of the latest to call for sheltering in place, and he is one of the first to “reopen” – all trying to tack to the wind — correction, hot air — of his hero, #45.
A Senate seat became available in Ga. Trump wanted Rep. Doug Collins (his lacky) from Ga. to be appointed to the seat. Gov. Kemp appointed Kelly Loeffler instead. Trump retaliated.
Follow The Leader gets harder for the Gops every month. I’m reminded of something Earl Nightingale said about commies, back in the day: “Nod head, Shake head, Chop head.”
And to think Georgia could have had Stacey Abrams as governor if only that idiot secretary of state had allowed a fair election without disenfranchising thousands of voters. Who was that bozo, anyway?
I’m sure in the private conversation King Donnie had with Kemp, King Donnie said he would publicly say he strongly disagreed with Kemp but just between them Atta boy!!!.
Proof positive (like we needed it) that the dishonesty, imbeclity, and insanity of Republican politicians isn’t limited to those at the federal and state levels. From an ope-ed in today’s Kansas City Star: “Mark Hatesohl [note from Godfreydaniel: That’s his actual name, and very appropriate!], a city commisioner in Manhattan, Kansas, said at a meeting on Tuesday, ’I’m almost to the point where it’s like, let’s everybody get the damn thing and get it over with.” Like I said, proof positive! Hatesohl refused to walk any of his idiocy back when contacted by a reporter, even though he was given every chance to do so. This bozo is the former MAYOR of a major university town! He is also a chiropractor, so we already knew that he isn’t smart enough to be a real doctor. In fact, that got me thinking about “Two and a Half Men” which featured a chiropractor. I’d have to say that Hatesohl is as incompetent as Alan and as irresponsible as Charlie!

Remember that Trump and Pence set him up for this by telling him (in separate conversations) that reopening was a good idea.

These start in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, so good chance Kemp will see this.

Well I hope neighboring states will not allow Georgians to pass into their territories. Twill be an interesting experiment to follow.

I must repeat: As a Georgia Tech alum I need to point out that Kemp is a UGA grad.
