Once again:

Get the evidence — i.e. depose the witnesses under oath. If they stonewall, put them in contempt of Congress. If necessary, put them in the little Congressional jail.

Publicize the hearings so that the public can see the stonewalling, just like Haldimann, Erlichmann, Mitchell and the others.

Compile the evidence, and put it on display for the public.

Go where the evidence leads. If it points to impeachment, then impeach. If the evidence points to exoneration, then he is exonerated.

Again, if the evidence points to impeachment, then impeach. Whatever the Senate votes, every Senator is going to wear it.

Unquestioning loyalty seems to be a Republican thing as we see Lisa undaunted by evidence of corruption and dishonesty, continue to promote the party line. It would be easier to understand if so many Republicans did not approve of the resident’s character.
