Alex’s birth was broadcast on cable TV as one of JJ’s performance art pieces. Mike’s seatmate on a plane felt obliged to mention JJ’s breathing was all wrong.

How could J.J. possibly use the money? She got a MacArthur some years ago.

Why does Doonesbury want to rush these things along? Let Leo & Alex continue following their careers and get out of his mother’s trailer.

Performance art? Just hope she doesn’t take off her clothes during the act.

What a way to introduce her bio-mom

uh-oh - a “helper” a “fixer” a “saver” an “enabler” of others…like the woman who goes to commit suicide, jumps off a bridge, and SOMEONE ELSE’S LIFE flashes before her eyes. Alex’s own plans go into dreamland, she is so busy trouble-shooting/making it good for others.

A bonus with commissioning JJ would be letting Leo know what he’s in for. So far his interesting relatives only go as far as his Mom. It’s more fun to be the skeleton in the closet than to hide one.

Don’t put Alex down because of JJ. She has done well, actually, better than expected of someone who has a close relative who is frequently climbing onto the 21st rung of a 20 foot ladder.
