I always hated that guilt trip bull cr@p. Also, don’t feed him vegetables you know he won’t like. I hate peas and cooked carrots. Too mushy and they taste disgusting.
that was pretty lame I remember when I was a kid I did not have a choice ok wait I did have choice I could not talk back and eat them or talk back get smacked then eat them
Cut the kid some slack. Many people boil vegetables for as long as 20 or 30 minutes which results in mush without color, flavor, or nutrition. Vegetables cooked properly tend to have flavors almost everybody likes. See if people like raw vegetables (like carrots) and if they do it’s most likely that your cooking is the problem, not their taste buds. There’s easier ways to do things than to bully kids.
My solution as a kid was to secretly squash each pea to the underside of the table where they all stuck together in a pile. That way my plate looked like I had eaten all my peas! I didn’t have a problem eating carrots but I flatly refused to eat peas.

A trip to the trash can seems like a good alternative to the alimentary canal.

He doesn’t want to eat his peas and carrots? Fine, just remember not to give in when he asks for a snack later on!

Is the cow happy you’re eating a hamburger? Would you be happy to be a feast for a cannibal ?

Nelson, it could be worse, broccoli or spinach!

And once again, some ditzy dame mistakes “edible” with “good to eat”…

It’s too late for the vegetables, they’ve already been tortured.

I was made to sit at the table until I’d eaten my vegetables…… I was still there at bedtime. Peas and carrots are best eaten raw.
