The stream of four letter (and more) words that now were flying out of the cab of that truck would probably have embarrassed Kip. “Well, he certainly looks like he’s going to make good time..” Tre-C said with a snicker. “I don’t feel good about this but it had to be done. He’s completely innocent, but we’re probably going to ruin his day,” Megan said with a sigh; “C’mon- follow me. And bring that roll of tape.” The two cats were now in full-on rescue mode, Megan electing to take a ‘short cut’ through the back wall of a nearby garage. “Remember your focus, Kitten. And just so you know, this stream’s going to be harder for you to get out of than to get in. But I’ve been to the yard before and I know how to “lock it in’, so to speak.” Tre-C wanted Megan to know she understood; “No real individual scent to lock onto, just a ton of them combined. And since I’ve never been there, I have no reference point to draw to. I got it…” So down a nondescript alley, left at the intersection, then a quick right- into a wall- leading into the disorienting nothingness that was what Megan called the Slipstream.

I love how a few autumn leaves are falling and Tommy’s got on a light cardigan over his Hawaiian shirt. I can feel the crispness (and adventure) in the air!

I just noticed that Elvis is left pawed.

I know I’ve been absent for a while, (stupid work interfering with my comics time) but I wanted to share a bit of good news. Dee, the kitten I brought home from the colony, is doing well. She’s still having issues with her lungs, so I took her to a different vet Friday for another opinion. Turns out that she is not completely deaf – she has a secondary infection in her ears that has swollen her ear canals mostly shut. After just three doses of her new medication, she actually turns her head when I call her name & swivels her ears in response to some sounds! The vet believes that she will still have some hearing loss, but nowhere near as much as we thought. She is partially blind, though, especially in her left eye. Nothing slows her down, though.

Good afternoon, orbsters and orbabies. I’m back after 10 wonderful days at the cabin. Paul and I had a wonderful time. He got a lot of rest and is eating solid food again – not necessarily big portions, but he is eating! He went fishing with my father-in-law and caught a fish we are having for dinner tonight!

Gads, the guys are so cute. This strip brings joy to my heart on a daily basis. I look for the Gocomics page first thing in the morning and check it throughout the day to read the comments. I just read that…is sounds like I don’t have much of a life. But I really do.

My very own ginger is right here with me! Just not with the same outdoor style! My Sim has more of an Elvis demeanour.

I love this SO much! I’ve gotten to the point where I have 3 tabs dedicated to reading BCN. One for reading the strip and then on to the comments, another where I end up just having the strip so I can reference it when folks talk about the art (I used to scroll back up to look, but there are always so many comments that I got tired of losing my place!) and then a 3rd so I can go look up references to older strips, pics or youtube videos! You gotta love the depth and richness of the BCN experience! Thanks Georgia and the ORB!
