The problem is that the bowman was dead long before since creatures like Balrog can exist for thousands of years.

Geez, you’d think Jason would be elated to try to calculate something like that. Remember Wizard Chess?

Sorry, but a Type VI Tana’ri is immortal. It would have to die of boredom….

I’ve had D&D sessions where the players did this sort of thing, except there it was more working out optimum tactics—while if the term “Leeroy Jenkins!” had been invented yet, my character would have been shouting it and charging the enemy.

I hope Marcus also factored in the draw weight of the bow and resiliency of the wood, as well as any elasticity in the bow string.

People criticize Pathfinder for being rules-heavy, but having rules for these sorts of things prevents arguments about how they should factor in!

This is what happens when you use all the optional rules. I love Rolemaster, for example, but too many people think it’s all or nothing.

Isn’t there a game out there that is playable, using some of “new style” and “old style” games? Not everybody wanst to play a game that goes on forever, nor do they want to play The Game of Life.

Mike from “Stranger Things” would have had the balrog attack in impatience.
