24 cats? Oh no! Say it isn’t so! Cats! Not dogs! Oh no……..!!!

I did remember the part with all the form letters, but I’d forgotten this. I guess I was wrong about the Bunny-wunnie series being written by committee, then.

And how that balloon popped.

And reality comes crashing in.

So Snoopy is not Miss Helen Sweetstory’s “Cats Meow”.

Oooh, Deal breaker….

Much more effective than trying to convince him that he’s delusional about Miss Helen being his best friend

Oh yes, I forgot about that part in the story arc…she had cats!

Not only a cat person, but a crazy cat lady.

And so ends the romance.

Impressive that you can get 24 cats to lie perfectly still for a posed photograph.

So she is a crazy cat lady… could be worse – wait, no… no it really can’t be worse.

But he could be her one and only dog

Hmm. I wonder if Lucy did this with cruel intentions or if she honestly didn’t realize what a shock this would be for Snoopy? If it had been CB or Linus instead of her, i think the latter would be true. But with Lucy…

Miss Sweetstory had a huge rodent problem, thus the Kitty Witties.

That’s a lot of cats, even to me…

The question is, can Snoopy find it in his heart to forgive this terrible character flaw, this tragic, terrible secret, in the bosom of his great, his true, his one and only love? Or will he just say, “Oh, doggone it,” and go back to his supper dish?

Am I watching far too many movies/tv as I heard the sound of glass shattering in the background as I read “Cats!”

I had forgotten the story went this way. It’s a good ending. Snoopy will “dump” Miss Sweetstory.

A trip to France, a pretty mademoiselle and a Root Beer and Snoopy will fine.
