Billy Graham is dead. Good!

And his son is living proof that recessive genes can dominate.

Franklin mocks Christian teachings and does no honor to his father, in my opinion.

Well, Billy was always the least insane of the evangelical nutcases…unlike his crazy son.

Billy Graham started out every inch the stereotypical white racist ignoramus Southern Bible-thumper that makes the South look bad. But he had AMBITION. So he sacrificed any Christian principles he might have had to become “minister to Presidents.”

He took a few courageous stands (he integrated his Crusade in Mississippi in 1952, which was pretty gutsy), but was willing to go along with comments about Jews, Mormons (until Romney ran against a certain black Christian for President), and others.

And let’s not forget that he preached against the space program, because we might shatter the crystal spheres around the Earth that held the sun and planets. No, I am NOT making this up.

I’d like to think he got less ignorant over time, and more Christian, but it doesn’t show in his son, who is a vile excuse for a human being.

There’s a lot of ‘good’ ways to be evil.

The following explains why evangelicals and zealot Christians can ignore many of the teachings of Jesus and still believe they will go to heaven. They ignore the Good Samaritan and instruction to love everyone. They ignore the admonition against accumulating wealth. They ignore feeding the poor. All they have to do is say they believe in Jesus and they’re good to go.

You are commenting on a dead man’s memorial. Very few people deserve to have the world spit upon their grave.

Billy started out as a Fuller Brush salesman and was the best they had ever seen, (do not know if he preached the bible with the brushes) he then turned to the more lucrative bible circuit.

If you believe as he did, hevan won`t be very crowded.

He proclaimed the gospel. What you do with that information determines your fate. He fulfilled his purpose.

I remember reading (in a book of famous insults) about a tombstone which was inscribed,

HAHA, they worship a Jew, but despise Jews, and of course Africans, Muslims are hated too!
