I remember when I was a kid in the 60s, TV dinners were “special.” Home cooked was the norm. You put them in the oven for about 20min and kids thought they were the greatest. In those days, every kid took a lunchbox to school. Then one day, along came the “hot lunch programme.”
Somehow, eating school lunches off the compartmentalised trays made us lose interest, though.
