As Clay writes on his website, the people that made the claims during the election that HRC was not presidential because she had classified emails on her server seem to be silent about the number of people in the White House that don’t have security clearance. The HRC emails didn’t have the proper tags to show they could contain classified material (which is probably how they slipped through if HRC was using a filter), but it is well known that at least one third of the Trump White House does NOT have security clearance. Including Jared who Trump put in charge of everything.
SFCGATOR, the difference here is that the Trump WH has been given the information that these people did not qualify for a security clearance yet they continue to have access to classified information. Plus this is a THIRD of the existing staff, and plenty of the positions are open because they were never filled or the one who was put in place has been fired.
You are wrong gator. The FBI does the background checks and refers the information to the White House, granting them a temporary clearance. The White House makes the decision to make that permanent based on the information they received. The president won’t even listen to or read the PBD even though it’s been dumbed down for him. JARED who will never get a permanent security clearance reads it.

The White House doesn’t even do back ground checks – or if they do they “forget” them right away.

Trump has only one condition for a job at the White House. Pledge your unconditional loyalty to him, the dear leader.

SFGator does not know that White House appointments are put on a fast track. If they don’t have a clearance by now they won’t be getting one.
Who knows how many Russian spies are in the White House without clearance?

What is that CW? I find no mention in government clearance info.
Baslim, Secret/CNWDI ( with the fetish for over-classifying, it would be TS/CNWDI today, but this was 35 years ago)
More recently (before retirement) TS/SCI on multiple programs related to strategic defense.
