Nah, he’s got people for that. Granted, I suspect any of the mobsters he used to pal around with would make better presidents, but still, he would fall off that running board if he tried such a thing.
No, that’s Krispie Kreme Kristie, the New Jersey Mafia Enforcer’s job! Although, Donnie DID work with the Mafia in New York on a LOT of his building projects…
As I have said repeatedly, I also remain 100 percent confident in Special Counsel Robert Mueller. The contents of this memo do not – in any way – discredit his investigation.— Trey Gowdy (@TGowdySC) February 2, 2018
Strange isn’t it…
Only after an elected GOP’er decides that they are going to retire or not seek re-election…
Then, they echo what the Dems have been saying all along…
I have always held that Reagan was seriously affected by his “career” as an actor. (After the battle, the dead got up and discussed how to make it look better.) I don’t think he understood the difference between cinema and real life.
@ Radish — What a terrible idea a ‘bloody nose attack’ on North Korea is! The North Korean people have been told for 60 years and more that we are their biggest enemy, and only the supernatural, wise Kim family can save them. It would play right into Kim Jong-Un’s hands. It would prove to the North Koreans (and lots of others) that they need a credible deterrent against “those evil Americans”. Maybe it would prove to them and others that they need to the take the USA out.
Further, it would immediately risk the Russians and the Chinese getting involved, and that could spell ruin for billions.
This should be seen for what it is, a desperate attempt to win approval and power. Trump may count several hundred thousand dead South Koreans and tens of thousands of dead Americans as a fair exchange for his power and wealth, but most of the rest of the word will not.
This may be what Trump and his easily manipulated supporters see him as, but that’s pretty far from reality. The Republicans made a huge mistake by releasing a memo that partially exonerates the FBI from what Republicans are accusing them of.
Steve, as much as I delight in every exacting detail that you weave into your art (the red star radiator cap is perfect—my compliments), I am troubled by two details in your effort today. It would appear that Trump could be running beside the speeding roadster. Now such vehicles might easily exceed 37 miles an hour which would surely cause vapor lock in our lumbering President; so that cannot be the case. The other possibility is that, he is standing on the running board. While possible, it poses two problems: 1.) such running boards were not welded to carry 239 lb. whales; so it will fail. 2.) given his propensity for wearing those damn long neckties, he’s going to pull an Isadora Duncan. My guess is you did have these eventualities in mind. You might consider just adding a footnote clarifying such details in the future. regards rad
Of course, Trump’s got his heavies—in this case, his driver, as depicted in the cartoon.
As far as the running board goes, he ended up running for president and winning. So, I think he’s capable of perching himself, for awhile at least, on a gangster car running board. And certainly at least in a cartoon.
