But wasn’t he the cowboy with no name? Or is this a take on Hamburger Hill direction?

Stopped for a woman out of gas in a VW who was getting ready to try to run across 4 lanes of a busy freeway. Good thing I was carrying gas with me. Didn’t realize it at the time, but I still owe her $18 change (the gas was only $2).

Kelly’s Heroes was Clint’s best movie….I saw a version of it where they edited out the line, “Maybe he’s a republican.”….https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kqw0Gz9GahM

Instead of the trash can, be an empty chair to talk to for those who opt out.

One of the most often misquoted quotes. In the movie “Dirty Harry”, he says, “You’ve got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya, punk?”

In the business park near my home, the main street has sidewalks on only one side. The standing joke is, if you try to cross anywhere you won’t need the other sidewalk. You will need very good medical plan.

One of my favorite early Eastwood characters, was Rowdy Yates on the television western series Rawhide.

They can name the bridge over the river the “Missourah Boat Ride”.

Rawhide was good, but the Rowdy Yates character didn’t work as well alone as it did when played against Eric Fleming’s character, Gil Favor.

Pedestrians and bicyclists should be carrying a .44 Magnum. Or a bazooka. It’d even the score a bit.

Did you know they named a street after Chuck Norris? They had to change it back though. Turns out that nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.

Better a nod from that than a flick like “Paint Your Wagon.” Now there’s a klinker for you.

Some places I prefer to cross on the “Don’t Walk” light, when I KNOW that the cars are trying to hit me. On the “Walk” light the like to sneak up on you.

I feel as if I’ve taken my life in my hands whenever I cross a street, whether there’s lights or not.
