In the minds of some people the US is the greatest, however …

It’s one thing to take issue with the folks who are dragging it down and quite another to "hate the USA”….

Please stop voting for selfish greedy Republican liars. Return America back to the people and away from the Plutocratic right wing thieves and destroyers.

Republicans want to destroy the few entitlements we have and give the money to their rich donors.

Watch the movie GUNG HO. Pay attention to the part where Micheal Keaton has to tell the townspeople Americans are not the best, most productive in the world. That is all hype. They did not like it and some could not face reality, but he told them the truth. We need more truth and recognizing reality.

To Jlocke: I am not going to post under you (to bring your post the top of the list). Your comments are one of the most rabid racist I have seen. Not only this page but others also.

Hey Johnny Locke (not his real name)? Drumpf in his Inaugural Speech used the word “carnage” to describe the country that only he can make great again (it’s not pretty great already?), why does he hate America so much?

American political culture contains a number of core ideals and values. Not all Americans share the same views, of course, but the vast majority subscribes to these general ideals, including liberty, equality, democracy, individualism, unity, and diversity. Why do Republicans hate these things?

Norway, the world’s happiest country in the world (out of 155) according to the World Happiness Report. Canada is not far behind… Lucky buggers, but not for me; after spending most of my life in the sun, I couldn’t take the snow and ice that nine of the ten “happiest countries” in the world are exposed to several months each year.

Hey Jlocke: And yet you can say that Morin hates the USA. The very fact that you can’t understand the cartoon explains your racism.

Morin recognizes the problems in his country; solution will never come to those who don’t, especially if they demonize anyone who points them out. (I suppose we’re really perfect, and that’s what gives us the right to call other countries shitholes? The self-serving nonsense defense.)

@JLocke – rather than saying, as you did above, “all races are equally human and created equal,” try this: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS RACE in biological terms. It is entirely a social construct. The very use of the idea of “races” is something we need to move past. As long as we try to define races, we will continue to have racism.
