Nope, only 4 PAIRS of shoes–8 shoes, total.
The Spook’s back home today from his vacation.
I know a spider has 8 legs, but 8 eyes!!
and then having to put on pants with eight legs.
But then, the spider has four arms to deal with four legs.
Evidently it takes 2.5 minutes per lens.
He is lucky. If he had been on time she might have mated with him and then killed him. Better late than dead.
So what if he was 20 minutes late?
She could have always spent the time knitting herself a new web while she was waiting…
And just think, said lack of mating helped conserve the quality of the gene pool. Who wants an egg sack of nearsighted spiders?
