My children all were allowed to eat all the candy as fast as they wanted to. Just had to remember to brush their teeth afterwards. They got so tired of all that sweetness, that after a while, had enough candy until next Halloween. (Of course, I picked out my favorites, too)

Trick or Treaters never show up at my house because I live in the country up in the woods, but I buy candy every year–just in case. And then I have to eat it all myself!

Happy Halloween!

I was famous (in my family) for making my Hallowe’en stash last almost a full year, by having just one piece a day. It was the only time I got candy, so I didn’t want it to be gone too quickly!

Yes, and I hope they run the Christmas tree in the garage storyline this year! Loved that one!

And tomorrow all the Halloween candy will be on sale at 1/2 price!

Where we used to liver in a small town HS would have football game going. There fore most families did their Halloween there and we were luckly if we had 15 or less. Some past Halloween weather would be odd. Now we live in a major town no problem have more candy on hand a candy makers dream come true. Church I go to had an event called Autumn Bash Halloween alternatve for a safe envioronment. I warned the Children’s Pastor there would be a lot coming. Wow from last yer 500 to this year 700. Children had a great time.

Kabooo Buch great idea Im a little short in height for my weight and we get 2 or maybe 4 kids every year but you never know? So we make sure we buy candy we like,I am really a little kid like Calvin when it comes to soft mars bars. I earned them .

This is cool; my son is going as a dino tonight. I’ve printed this out and we’re going to put it in the scrapbook with the pictures we’ll take.

I, too, am glad to see a Calvin comic strip finally in sync on the day it’s meant for. Any other comic today would have been extremely disappointing.

Here’s a suggestion for you fellas’

Starting Monday I will be turning in, not the spammers, but the website business site that they are providing the link for to our state’s attorney-general. He loves to prosecute spamming website owners.

Do the same for your state’s attorney-general; since go-comics doesn’t wish to help, then we can simply have the spammers owners fined out of existence. Nothing encourages them to “move on” like tens of thousands of dollars in fines.

Also, just the fact that Go-Comics will have government officials monitoring this site and asking questions may help to encourage them to stop the spammers instead of giving them shelter.

Good suggestion. But I think GoComics really tries, they just don’t have the resources. The AG certainly does, though.

I am copying the link addresses now, and saving in an email draft.

So far, seven different addresses right here in C&H.

All GoComics has to do is filter ANY comment with an imbedded link. Cross referencing the filter with “free shipping” and “Paypal” would cut out most as well (but not all).

@Wiseguy, but some legit posters do like to link to other, related stuff. So cutting every comment with a link would be overkill.
