Nope, the GOTP-Grand Old Tea Party is in the process of destroying hope. They have managed in just a very few years, to place power over country.I really doubt that the GOTP Senate could come up with enough Senators with open minds to form a Select Committee like was done back in 1973.When presented with the evidence against Nixon, even House members considered to be GOP hacks rose above the party label and voted against Nixon for the good of the country.Could such a committee be empaneled today? Do not think it possible as the current iteration of the GOTP hasn’t got a single member of the Senate able to place the good of the country over the naked desire for power, + just going along with someone almost all know has Alzheimers. The GOTP congress can remove Trump from office due to mental illness. They would still have a GOTP president. But they are mostly scared to death of the 34% of Registered Voters who are Authoritarian Followers that make up the GOTP base who still love Trump, despite the fact that the GOTP Tax Bill will totally screw over those rural white voters, in favor of the GOTP Donor Class, aka the FILCH-FILthy riCH
