It’s 35 degrees outside and I’m glad I’m inside. Nothing in particular to do today, so I’ll relax and enjoy Michael’s company.
We went to WalMart yesterday and bought a bunch of little ornaments for our small tree. It looks really nice and so far the cat has left it alone. We bought some of those pine-scented stick ornaments to give it a little authenticity, and I think that may be repelling Pinto because just one of them is pretty strong. The best part is that none of the ornaments are breakable, so when we have to move next week, we won’t have to worry about it falling over.
We are allowed 3 weeks in this park then we have to be out for a week before we can come back for 3 more free weeks. When we decided to prolong our return from Texas, we cut into our first 3 weeks so we’re only here for 12 days. It was easier doing that than trying to rearrange the already paid-for weeks in another park. As it is, we will move next Tuesday and then back here the day after Christmas.
Weather’s not too bad. It only got up to 34 yesterday, but when you’re in the sun it doesn’t feel that cold. I can’t believe that we still have a lot of snow on the ground from a week ago yesterday. I guess it won’t melt until spring, after all.
We watched an old favorite…..“We’re No Angels” with Humphrey Bogart, Peter Ustinov, and Aldo Ray. It’s so much fun to see these actors in something other than their normal roles.
