The reason I’m late is that prayer group was this morning and Michael wanted to go out for breakfast before that. After that, I was running around doing some errands.
We bought a new car yesterday. We traded in the Fit for a 2018 Toyota Corolla iM. (It used to be a Scion, but Toyota renamed them this year.) It is electric blue and beautiful. It is also a manual transmission. Do you have any idea how long it has been since we’ve driven a stick shift on a regular basis? It’s a learning curve of stall-outs and racing engine. We’re both improving, I guess it’s like riding a bicycle: you never really forget. It will be easier to tow the manual transmission and there is no restriction on speed as there was with the Fit.
I rearranged our reservations again. We’re here the full 3 weeks until the 28th, then out for a week and back in for 3 more (two more times). We will leave Nevada on the 22nd of February, and try to get to Florida by the end of March so we can re-register the RV there. It is the difference between $2600 to register it in Nevada and $47.50 in Florida.
