After counting all those penalty minutes, Snoopy is out of the game for almost an hour. (That’s not the whole game, is it? I’ve only been to one hockey game — Seattle Thunderbirds probably in the mid-1990s — but didn’t say for all three periods.)
Nowadays Snoopy would probably also be assessed that new two minute penalties for slashing and beicg kicked out of the faceoff circle to boot.
Deep down so are lawyers when you bury them 10 feet under.
What is ALLONS?
The Zombie team was ejected from the rink…there was a face-off in the corner…ba dump bump
This strip could be subtitled “A Day in the Life of Dave Schultz.” Or Bob Gassoff. Or Chris Nilan… The NHL seems relatively goon-free these days.
Sparky was such a big fan of hockey (both watching and playing) that he built an ice arena in Santa Rosa. It is located next door to his museum.
Snoopy was four years ahead of the Broad St. Bullies (Philadelphia Flyers).
The game is over for you, so get the puck out of here.
