Reminds me of another “Pearls” strip where Pig’s Nativity scene was pillaged. “Have you found Jesus,” he asks a citizen who then slams the door.

When he finds it, Pig will break out in a Sonny & Cher tune (which will not be named)

And Rat is going to find Pastis and make him “tuth”-less.

Sounds like a lead-in to the Statler Brothers song, Ruthless.

Is Pig looking for Babe in the city?

He should walk around with the cloak he got from a cartoon mouse. You know, his Mickey Mantle.

Maybe he shoulda said DiMaggio?

Coincidentally, he also lost his DVD of his favorite Australian-American comedy film, so he is also Babe-less.
