Sounds like someone’s talking about a different kind of candy corn than what I’m familiar with. The only one I know of is one that’s very good for taste buds because they’re those little pieces of candy shaped like corn but bad for blood sugar especially when it comes to people with type one diabetes like me.
I was hoping my comment about candy corn being a tasty treat would’ve wound up on the top since I think of it as those little pieces of candy that are shaped like corn and don’t know about any other kind. Corn by itself off the cob isn’t hard on the taste buds, and it’s not that on the cob makes it less desirable to me. It’s that it has more of a tendency to get caught between my teeth if I eat, so that’s why I don’t care for corn on the cob.

What astonishes me is that people actually eat the stuff. Even as a child, I might manage to consume a kernel or two, but never more. Yuck!

I don’t remember any candy I liked less than candy corn but that was a lo-o-o-ong time ago. There had to have been at least one more.

Just don’t buy the cheap candy corn. I like it best with peanuts.
