    HAY! Vagabonds

Another good day headed into the NEK, but I can’t see it yet, sunrise about quarter past seven.

Bad news yesterday, our furnace is unserviceable, after 50yrs of service it is burned out. A new one is expensive and we may look at wall mounted gas heaters. (oy)

I Hope this day will be better, I hope you all have a wonerful too.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Mark I am sorry to hear about your furnace. What a time of year for this to happen! At least it’s not deep winter and you will be able to get it replaced before it is urgent.

We’re going to head into San Antonio to the visitor center today to find out what else there is to do there besides see the Alamo. Today is supposed to be possible thunderstorms, so we will wait to see the mission on a dry day. Michael has today and Monday off and next weekend the same, so we will have lots of chances. Any suggestions from anyone?

    Everyone have a blessed day.

Jan, across the street from the Alamo is the wax museum, which is very good, and the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum, which is pretty interesting. And while you’re there, be sure to see the River Walk. And my favorite Mexican Restaurant is the outdoor one on the River Walk. Sorry, I forgot its name, but it’s really good!

While you’re in San Tone, I hope you have the time for the Spanish Mission Tour. If you don’t, at least see San Jose Mission. That one is muy interesante!

Good morning Vagabonds.I posted earlier but it did not stay.

Going to be a nice day with temp in mid 70’s.

Barbara got good news at the eye doctor’s yesterday morning. She told her that everything was the same as at the last visit. That means that she has not lost anymore of her eye sight. PTL

It was a typical doctor’s visit that took almost two hours be fore she saw her. I was falling asleep in the waiting room.

With this report and the other doctor’s report last week it looks like the Lord is taking of her.

Peace to all of you today.

    Good morning, Everyone,

Another great day yesterday…..all the way up to 74, and only 46 this morning. I can handle THAT! But, we’re supposed to get some rain tonight. We can really use that. Mike, our KXLH weather guy told us about the La Nina that is forming out in the Pacific. Supposed to bring us a bunch of cold and wet weather this winter. WooHoo! (she sounds crazy?)

Mark, sorry about your furnace. We installed that large wood burning stove about 5 years ago now……it heats the entire top floor, and the cost of firewood is minimal compared to that of propane. We haven’t used our furnace in all those years!

Well, “Ketchup” Day today. Gotta clean off my To-Do list. Enjoy your weekend.

    xoxoxo

    Happy Trails
