While my thoughts and prayers (and donation) goes out to the people of Texas, I am curious if the Texas congressmen who voted against Sandy relief (supposedly because it wasn’t in the budget) will vote against Harvey relief.
Are they checking immigration status before saving people? Are the Klan and neo-Nazis helping? Has Trump done anything but pardon known racists?
There are plenty of heroes, and plenty of villains who made this possible. How about we relax more pollution regulations until these 100-year events are daily? Would the rich finally start the trickle down then? Is that what Trump is doing to make America great?
An article I read stated that the governor is trying to protect even the illegal victims of this hurricane. Those who would be afraid to try and get help. All of the homeless out there who have lost what little they have are even more pathetic. People who have lost their homes still have family usually. The homeless are usually on their own.. and in today’s government there is not going to be a strong leadership to rely on…. And that’s the biggest heartbreak of all!. I remember through Katrina and Sandy the strong leadership that came out and actually did something positive to help. I don’t think we’ll see that this time.
