The little kid with the sand bucket has Wiley Bear eyes. He must be a chimera.

A shark & an octopus. All that’s missing a a huge white whale, although maybe the fat guy in the beach chair at the bottom left is Chris Christie, in which case he did put the huge white whale in the cartoon, but the colorist made him purple.

Wiley nails it with this one. Insurance executives probably laugh more freely at this cartoon than their customers… the bittersweet quality of this spot on humor would not be there for them.

Maybe should be a minus sign under the plus sign, i.e. one is more or less insured .

Yes, The difference between Health care and Health Insurance. Everyone should have access to health care, not everyone wants or needs health insurance. The numbers of people not having health insurance is used all the time to present a dire situation.

Water rescues are not covered. However, to be an in network provider the lifeguard must be trained in all manner of water rescue.

How do things get paid for? If one says “Everyone should have access to health care, not everyone wants or needs health insurance” does “access” mean “There’s a hospital down the road that you can physically get to, if you can afford it”? Actually health insurance IS the wrong answer if it just enriches insurance companies. A health “membership” in the local hospital system, where the payments go directly to the upkeep of that hospital down the road, is the goal.

That’s just a very friendly octopus – the guy is smiling – they are having a great time!
