We have medications for that condition now. Donnie, you should try some. And afterwards, change into that nice orange jumpsuit. It’s your color.

Trump is incapable of learning. I do not know if it is because of diminished mental capacity (he shows evidence of that) or because of a chemical imbalance in his blood chemistry that affects his brain, or a personality disorder wherein he honestly believes that he really does know more about everything than anyone else. When you already know everything, what else is there to learn?

I worry about the post-Trump era. Having seen that a politician does not have to worry about truth, honesty, and integrity, will they be willing to put the effort in to restore America?

@danflak…mental illness renders trump incapable of change in any substantive way. He is mentally ill. If he had been born poor, he would likely be the sad fool wandering the streets muttering, popping, and sputtering at nobody in particular, unable to form meaningful relationships, incapable of holding a job.

If you have never seen mental illness up close and personal, it can be hard to understand the compulsions they feel they must act on. They are delusional, and cannot distinguish right from wrong, up from down, appropriate from inappropriate and so forth. They are captives of their illness every bit as much as the person with cancer. The big difference is that they don’t see themselves as sick whereas the person with cancer knows that an illness is eating away at their body.

Yeah and unfortunately they their are many people who live in the same alternate reality that doesn’t exist. Do you ever wonder though if the people who appear to support Trump believe what they are saying or know exactly that they are lying?

A large number of people in the country, maybe 30% of the population or so, seem to have a perceptual filter that ONLY allows them to see EXACTLY what THEY want to see, hear EXACTLY what THEY want to hear, and believe EXACTLY what THEY want to believe, the REALITY of the world outside their little bubble notwithstanding! That HAS to be the only reason that Trump still has a 30% poll rating, or thereabouts!

Reality is bigger and more honest than Trump. It will all come crashing down on him, maybe sooner than he thinks. You get back what you put out there.
