He’s an insult and embarassament to all America, all around the world. Now the BSA are coming off as part of his idiot band of followers? He even pimps himself to them, what’s next, grabbing a Brownie troop by the kittens?

I was once proud to be a cub scout, a boy scout, and an explorer scout. After the BSA leadership set up that putrid Trump rally at the jamboree, I would be too ashamed to wear my uniform.

That speech was an embarrassment for America. Does Trump sell brown shirts now?

It has been an 80 years tradition for the sitting president to address the BSA. I wonder if we’ve reached the end of that tradition, too? He certainly doesn’t know much about being morally fit, or any other Scout virtues.

(— What’s wrong with that? Give ‘em liquor, pot, and dirty pictures. If they’re going to rebel against their upbringing, you might as well bring ’em up wrong! (—

I wonder if the BSA knows that the Hitler Youth were the last German “soldiers” to defend their leader because they were the only ones left? I too have been proud to say I’m an Eagle Scout but this idiotic disaster of a Trump presentation is embarrassing.

BSA should be ashamed! Will republicans ever admit Trump is a disgrace to America?

After a term of Donnie as our ‘President’, the phrase, “And you can become President, some day” will be followed by “you’re grounded, Young man (or lady)!”

It is a sad world we live in where the President of the United States is used to as a bad example to educate our children on what not to do or to be like.

While my son was in scouting, he left one troop because of the religious pressure, and went to a troop run by Mormon church, where they NEVER pumped religious stuff on the kids. That was intersting. The scout oath btw is based on “do unto others”, so not a bad mode, whether Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, or aethist. The real world does take all kinds, working TOGETHER, for a better world. Trum wants none of that.

Last speech to the BSA and first to the trumpjugend. Leader of BSA is CEO of AT&T and has a merger going on. An $85 Billion merger.

I’m fairly sure the BSA didn’t know Trump was going to do this. Even after the fact, it is hard to he had the gall to pull such a stunt. Next time, get a pre-written script, and make him stick to it.

    Trump and Hitler

Sure and Hitler was “refreshing” too and they liked him. He was popular and not a professional politician either. It was by happenstance that he was the one chosen to become Chancellor over the others since they would not form a coalition with the Nazis. On January 30, 1933, Adolf Hitler was appointed as the chancellor of Germany by President Paul Von Hindenburg. This appointment was made in an effort to keep Hitler and the Nazi Party “in check”; however, it would have disastrous results for Germany and the entire European continent.

In the year and seven months that followed, Hitler was able to exploit the death of Hindenburg and combine the positions of chancellor and president into the new position of Führer, the supreme leader of Germany. And for the next 12 years the worst global war since the “Great War” happens killing millions more than before.

“Ich schwöre: Ich werde dem Führer des Deutschen Reiches und Volkes Adolf Hitler treu und gehorsam sein, die Gesetze beachten, und meine Amtspflichten gewissenhaft erfüllen, so wahr mir Gott helfe.”

I swear: I will be faithful to the leader of the German Reich and the people of Adolf Hitler, to observe the laws, and to fulfill my duties, as surely as God will help me.

    <

“I swear: I will be faithful and obedient to the leader of the United States and people, Donald Trump, to observe the law, and to conscientiously fulfill my official duties, so help me God.” (This oath from a different time and different place has three words substituted with four to make it contemporary.)
